People

Searchlight embraces diversity & inclusion and aims to promote its benefits in all of our business activities. We ensure our searches are extensive in order to deliver the most diverse shortlist possible, and we actively support our clients in meeting their own diversity & inclusion targets.

Community

Searchlight is extremely active supporting the next generation of media and entertainment professionals.

We are delighted to work alongside the Media Trust on their Creativity Works: Multimedia Genius Training programme. The programme is a free, intensive course of media master classes and employment skills training for young Londoners who are not in employment or education. The team at Searchlight offers career advice, and runs sessions on CV writing and interview skills. See here.

We are one of BAFTA GURU’s Learning & Development partners. An element of this partnership is to run the highly popular CV surgery for delegates attending BAFTA GURU LIVE. See here.

We visit the National Film & Television school annually to advise graduating students on the various pathways into the media industry, and sometimes help them find their first role.

We also attend the Royal Television Society’s careers fairs in London and Birmingham to offer career advice to school & university leavers looking to enter the media & entertainment industries.

Environment

We’re committed to reducing our direct impact on the environment by actively managing our waste, and consumption of natural resources. Since the pandemic, we are maximising homeworking utilising digital video communication techniques, and consequently reducing our carbon footprint.
